The Black Arms were easily a very powerful legion in mere minutes after their invasion of earth, they were able to strike at least six cities around the planet and cause major damage and casualties. The bird appears to have held a prominent position in the culture of the Black Arms, whose temples in Glyphic Canyon and Sky Troops have a distinct shape like this animal and were treated as their holy ground.
